Paxton Primary Academy

Our Wraparound club at Paxton Academy runs 4:00pm – 5:45pm Monday – Friday during term time and the club is open to children in Reception – Year 6. Children with a booking, will be cared for by Paxton teaching staff when the school day finishes to 4:00pm each day when our team will take over.

Please do not ring the school buzzer if you need assistance or to collect earlier than finish times.
All bookings must be paid for prior to attending. If payment is not made, your child/children will not be able to attend Wraparound.

Food
We will be serving food at 5pm each day. This will be a hot, healthy and nutritious meal prepared on site by our team in the school kitchen. Vegetarian and vegan options will be provided, and food allergies catered for accordingly.

If you provide your son/daughter with a snack to have with us, please ensure it is NUT FREE. We do have fruit available if needed.

Timings and prices (Spring Term 2026)
• Session 1: 4:00pm – 5:45pm — £9.50 per child per day (meal included)
• Session 2: 4:30pm – 5:45pm — £6 per child per day (meal included)

If your child/children attend another club (3:30pm – 4:30pm) not run by us, and you would like them to stay until 5:45pm please book only this the 4:30pm – 5:45pm time slot. Once their first club has finished your child/children will be brought to us to start their session.

To pay via a childcare voucher, or your Tax Free childcare account, please submit your booking (with the balance outstanding) and then email us with your voucher provider. We will then send you our reference for payment and once funds are received, your balance will be cleared, and you’ll be sent a receipt.

On-the-day bookings
• Bookings on the day can be made up until 2:30pm, subject to space.
• Please email to organise this.
• If a late booking is made but not paid for, attendance will not be granted.
• Childcare voucher payments cannot be used for on the day bookings.

Collections
If your child/children are being collected by another adult, family member, or going home with another family after a club, you must email in advance to confirm before collection takes place.

Late fees, amendments and cancellations
• Collecting 6:00pm will incur a flat fee of £10 for the first 10 minutes per child.
• Collecting later than 6:10pm will incur an additional £5 every 5 minutes thereafter.
• Late fees must be paid before your child/children’s next day of attendance.

We can offer credit for a missed club if 24 hours notice is provided

We can make cancellations and amendments to bookings and will offer credit/refunds on a case by case basis. If the date of a booking has passed we can’t offer anything.
